This is a Swiss water decaffeinated version of our most popular blend.
Relative to a single coil pickup, a humbucker produces sounds musicians describe as richer, creamier, meatier, and smoother. And so it is with Humbucker Blend. Owing to difference in both recipe and roast, Humbucker Blend is a big, bold blend with full body and complex flavors. A great Mandheling (Sumatra) replaces the Nicaragua coffee in this blend, adding body, depth, and complex herbal and earthy flavor notes.
Humbucker Blend is the kind of coffee the French press was invented for – its big body and full flavor will shine brewed in a press. It’ll make good drip coffee too, and if will produce a shot of espresso that will not back down to milk.

Our logo, the black circle with a never-ending wave pattern, is a stylized representation of the “third harmonic,” a common concept in music. The first harmonic is the lowest frequency (the fundamental frequency) produced by a specific musical instrument, and since music and coffee go together and inspire us, we thought this was an excellent logo. (There’s some cool physics at work in all this stuff about frequencies, sinusoids, and Chladni plates, but the Internet is a better source for that than our Web site.)
