In close cooperation with the Munich nutritionist and specialist book author Dr. Malte Rubach (see also www.mrexpert.de) FORTEZZA has developed a special “Pharmacy COFFEE” and “Pharmacy ESPRESSO”.
In his new book “Coffee Pharmacy - The Bean for More Health”, Dr. Painted Rubach with myths about coffee and health. With a scientific background, it describes the areas in which coffee and espresso have a positive effect on health and the human body. Many aspects have hardly been considered so far and help to enjoy more enjoyment and joie de vivre with every cup.
The two types of beans used around the world for coffee enjoyment, Coffea Arabica and Coffea Canephora (Robusta), each have very special and different ingredients and mechanisms of action in the body.
That is why FORTEZZA, together with Dr. Rubach painted a 100% ARABICA (“Pharmacy COFFEE”) and a 100% ROBUSTA (“Pharmacy ESPRESSO”) roasted and branded to match his book “Kaffee-Apotheke”.
Just like 100 years ago, the two types of coffee are gently drum-roasted at FORTEZZA and packaged freshly roasted as whole beans in resealable 250g stand-up pouches without aluminum, but with an aroma valve.

It must have been this attitude towards life that captivated our company founder Rainer Langguth so much that, when he was 22 at the time, he developed the vision of producing the best espresso outside of Italy.

For us, it means sourcing only the best green coffee, where everyone involved in the value chain is treated fairly. A traditional long-term roast that is perfectly matched to the respective bean.
