ROEST

Our history started seven years ago when Sverre made a one kg home roaster during his master's degree in mechanical engineering at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.

In the autumn of 2013 we demonstrated the roaster to Tim Wendelboe and Morten Wennersgaard from Nordic Approach, two very important figures in the world of coffee in Norway. Tim and Morten challenged us to create a better sample roaster that specialty coffee industry was missing.

After presenting ROEST sample roaster at the World of Coffee in Budapest 2018, we have finalized the design, filed a patent and shipped to our first customers.

Now, in 2021, customers in more than 50 countries around the world are roasting on ROEST and improving their quality, consistency and workflow.
