The time spent testing, correcting, implementing and, lastly, finding the best solution. For Fiorenzato, this time has spanned more than eighty years. Over eight decades spent accumulating know-how, patenting newly trialled technologies and acquiring specific knowledge about the coffee and grinder-doser sector.

A far-sighted project

Together with Fondazione Banca degli Occhi del Veneto [the Veneto Eye Bank Foundation], Fiorenzato set up the “Corneal blindness: from transplant to cell therapy” project, a research programme aimed at guaranteeing endothelial cell treatment for people at risk of losing their sight. By funding the work of a specialised researcher, the company has helped create a protocol for cell culture in the laboratory and has contributed to the creation of Descemet Membrane Endothelial Keratoplasty, a highly innovative, cutting-edge surgical instrument.
