A "Caffè Crema" is geared towards the special requirements of a fully automatic coffee machine. The roast level lies between the slightly lighter roast for filter preparation and the dark roast for an espresso.
Our blend consists of high-quality South American Arabica beans and a small proportion of Indian Robusta beans. This is how you get an excellent crema. This mixture results in a mild, creamy espresso and a strong cup of coffee with a full aroma. A light, tasty acidity enhances our "Caffè Crema".

In our roasting plant, we refine selected green coffee beans to make top-quality coffees several times a week. For this we roast raw beans from India, Indonesia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Brazil, Cuba, Costa Rica and Colombia. The beans from natural and environmentally friendly cultivation are handpicked and air-cooled. The result: unmistakable aromas and a unique taste - always freshly roasted!
Our top-quality coffees are based on green coffee beans from the best growing regions in the world. Once the Arabica and Robusta beans have arrived in Rietberg, they have already traveled a long way. Each bean has its own character, which we emphasize with a sure instinct and intuition by roasting.
The fact is: a good coffee can develop up to 800 aromas. We face this challenge and create a special profile for each of our coffees.
We roast in our 12 kg roaster from Probat at temperatures of almost 215 ° C several times a week. This long, gentle roasting process reduces the chlorogenic acid content to a low level. The coffee is less bitter and easier to digest. Depending on the type of coffee, very different aromas and flavors develop through the artisanal roasting. They range from chocolaty and nutty to fruity and berry. By the way: The freshly roasted beans taste better than any snack.
