Nitro Coffee VS Cold Brew

The basis of both drinks is cold brew. The choice of grain depends on the taste preferences of the producer and ideas of what the drink should be.

Freshly ground coffee is poured with cold water and infused for 22-24 hours, then filtered.

  • Cold Brew – after filtering the drink is kept in the refrigerator and poured chilled to the consumers. Do not aerate.
  • Nitro coffee – after filtration is passed through a cooling station and in parallel saturated with nitrogen, hence the name “nitro”.
